Mask and Commedia dell’Arte. From the Object to Performance Practices and Back Again
The Swiss Association for Theatre Studies, Accademia Teatro Dimitri, MUSEC – Museum of Cultures of Lugano, and the research laboratory Scènes du Monde at University of Paris 8 Vincennes–Saint-Denis are organising an international conference dedicated to the mask and the Commedia dell’Arte. During the conference these themes will be explored through a continuous interplay between anthropology, history, museology, craftsmanship and contemporary theatrical practices.
