The Fondazione Culture e Musei (FCM) and the Museo delle Culture di Lugano (MUSEC) announce the winners of the 2025 edition of Unpublished Photo (UP), an international competition created to promote new trends in art photography among young talents from around the world.

The international jury awarded joint first prize to Nurlana Udovenko (Ukraine, 1997) for a project on the theme of boredom and to Titas Valionis (Lithuania, 2000) for a photographic series on aerial parkour. Next came Mariangela Pfahler (Germany, 1998) with an abstract work on the ambiguity of perception, and finally Anouk Andrea Boni (Italy, 2002) with a portfolio exploring trees as witnesses of time.

The winning projects are on display at the Spazio Maraini in Villa Malpensata, home of the MUSEC in Lugano, from 4 December 2025 to 12 April 2026.
